Sometimes life is too serious, so sometimes I'm not.
This project was inspired by a silly literal thought about the phrase Throwing Hands, and the urge to purposefully misinterpret a metaphor.

The design was driven by the Megazoid typeface.
Character Design
As the illustration is so graphic, it was imperative to keep the animation as clean and graphic as possible as well. Every frame of the arm movement needed to have perfect curves, the weight of the font being kept intact. Design rules > physics sometimes. Nothing is as satisfying as a perfect circle.
I drew this masterpiece to texture the background.
